Susanne Carmack currently lives and works in Okatie, South Carolina. She has taught studio art at The University of Maryland, Montgomery College, Rockville, Maryland, and the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore.  The recipient of many art awards, her work is in private, corporate and government collections.   Examples of her work can also be seen at Soren Christensen Gallery in New Orleans, and Sears Peyton in New York.  She spends the winter months painting in Manzanillo, Mexico.
